The China Household Electrical Appliance Association has officially released two group standards, The TCHEAA 0009-2019 Electric Toothbrush and The TCHEAA 0008-2019 hair Curler &  Straightener in Beijing. It is expected that the formulation of standards will provide reference basis for enterprises to improve their product research and development, design and quality control capacity, and at the same time improve consumers' product use safety and consumption experience, so that consumers can more clearly and confidently consume, and thus promote the healthy and orderly development of the electric toothbrush and curling straightening machine market and industry.

For the electric toothbrush industry, the official release of the group standard of "Electric Toothbrush" breaks the embarrassment of the electric toothbrush industry, which is the world's first electric toothbrush product performance standard formulated by institutions and organizations, which is the first of its kind in the industry.It is reported that the group standard drafting group of "Electric Toothbrush" consists of 25 enterprises and units including Romtobrush.

"Electric toothbrush" groups in the whole process of standard drafting, brought together including industry association, premium brands at home and abroad, and production enterprises, key parts suppliers and scientific research institutions on behalf of each respect such as strength, rich and extensive participation unit, comment, standard coverage, making process in strict accordance with the national standard GB/T1.1-2009 "guidelines for the standardization work of drafting rules, and passed the national standard committee for the record.

Si Mingming, an industry researcher with the China Home Appliance Association, said the electric toothbrush industry has maintained double-digit growth in the past two years, when analyzing the electric toothbrush and coil/straightener industries.In 2018, the retail sales volume reached 4.8 billion, up 50%;Retail sales rose 52% to 3.1 billion yuan in the first half of 2019.The high growth momentum of electric toothbrush market makes more and more enterprises see the opportunity of "digging".As of October 2019, there were 500 electric toothbrush brands online, according to data from Jd.com.Many brands also result in the large number of electric toothbrush products sold on the market and the wide difference in product prices, which makes it difficult for consumers to have a clear understanding of product classification, functional performance and use effect.Without any industry standard, the production and market behavior of electric toothbrush enterprises are in disorder.
